Built in 1886, this was the former residence of Thomas Carskadon, the youngest member of the West Virginia Constitutional Convention, who later held many political offices.

This long awaited museum just opened in early April. The Historical Society is showcasing everything Mineral County. Variety of displays include political items, school memorabilia, musical figures, and more!
