This hidden gem located in Short Gap, West Virginia, was built in the late 1700's. The building was used as a tavern and an inn for travelers and soldiers.
Built in 1886, this was the former residence of Thomas Carskadon, the youngest member of the West Virginia Constitutional Convention, who later held many political offices.
