Apple Harvest Festival

October 1st & 2nd

 

Located on the Burlington United Methodist Family Services campus, the Burlington Apple Harvest Festival celebrates all things apple. Come out and watch the process of making homemade apple butter and apple cider. Shop the local vendors, enjoy local entertainment, and eat some delicious food.

Mineral County Strawberry Festival

June 4th 

 

An old favorite is back & better than ever! Join us at the Mineral County Courthouse Square for a day of family fun! Local farmers will be set up selling strawberries & other produce, artisans will be set up selling products, food, Strawberry Shortcake Pageant, and a 5k race!

Fort Ashby Days

April 30th-May 1st

 

Located in Fort Ashby, Fort Ashby Days is a festival hosted by The Friends of Ashby's Fort. This weekend long celebration showcases re-enactors, 18th century crafts, vendors, music, and more! Tours are offered in their brand new visitors center and a parade is held to kick off the weekend! 

 

Bring the family and come experience 18th century Mineral County!

Parks & Rec Float Trip

June 18th 

 

Join Mineral County Parks & Rec for a day on Patterson Creek. The Creek is one of Mineral County's hidden gems and we want to share this beautiful asset with you! After the float, a cookout will be hosted at Larenim Park for floaters to enjoy!

Blue Dragon Boat Regatta

June 25th 

 

Located at beautiful Jennings Randolph Lake, the Blue Dragon Boat Regatta is a family summer hit! Participants race in handmade cardboard boats or kayaks in the lake for the grand prize! It's always fun to come out to see who floats and who sinks. Food and entertainment are available to the day of the event.
