Indoor Face Mask Alert!
Gov. Justice issued Executive Order 77-20 on November 14 and it remains in effect. Per the Executive Order, face coverings must be worn at all times in all public indoor places. The order does not apply to children under the age of 9 or anyone who has trouble breathing or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Under Gov. Justice’s reopening plan, West Virginia Strong — The Comeback, restaurants and bars may open indoor facilities at 50% capacity, as well as offering outdoor service and take-away and delivery service. All lodging providers are allowed to open or remain open with the limited services and usages. Lodging providers include properties such as hotels, motels, condo hotels, rental properties, Airbnb/VRBO style lodging, and cabins. Separate guidance has been issued for campgrounds. All travelers are encouraged to check the status of reservations, special events, and operations of businesses before making the trip.
